Do I have to use this forever? How long do you recommend?

The need for long-term use of Feliway® can be difficult to determine. It depends on the nature and the extent of the reason the product is being used. The minimum recommended duration for most situations is 1 month. However, due to the changes that often happen in our homes (eg visitors, new animals, new furniture, moving furniture, redecoration, etc.) Feliway® can be used continuously to provide reassurance in the home.

Will it leave an oily mess on my wall?

This diffuser releases oily vapors that rise above the diffuser in a column of warm air. If this air column is blocked (e.g. if the diffuser is under a shelf, table, or furniture) the oil may re-condense, leaving a visible stain. With this in mind, it is important to leave at least 4 feet of clear space above the diffuser. Do not plug the diffuser under any furniture or object that protrudes from the wall.

Does this have a bright green light on it? I would prefer one without a light?

This diffuser does have a light that indicates when the heater is receiving power. At this time, diffusers without lights are not available.

Cost

I have a cat that truly dislikes 2 of my other cats, so I thought I'd try the feliway in hopes of calming her, but to no avail. Feliway did not make any difference

I have a cat that truly dislikes 2 of my other cats, so I thought I'd try the feliway in hopes of calming her, but to no avail. Feliway did not make any difference to my testy cat. I have 2 in different spots, but there has been absolutely no difference in her behavior.

It really worked

Got it for a very timid cat, who was also getting aggressive with the other cats. Now he comes out for attention when other people are here and is getting along

My rescue cat was peeing on my bed so I bought this product to see if it helped. Turns out he had cystitis and an ear infection so it did not help with the peeing

My rescue cat was peeing on my bed so I bought this product to see if it helped. Turns out he had cystitis and an ear infection so it did not help with the peeing. I am using it in addition to a calming collar and believe a combination of two has been helping him. Although he still hisses at my dog. He only wants to play with him. But Ernie does not like when he comes on two strong.

FELIWAY DIFFUSER MIRACLE!!!

My nine year old dash female cat was stressed after I was away from her for 5 1/2 weeks with tour and hospitalization, even tho she was in my apartment with daily hour cat sitter. Several weeks later she stopped urinating with stress cystitis. Fixed. Then a couple of months later she was peeing more and hiding. Stressed again!! Checked out. FELIWAY DIFFUSER MIRACLE! She no longer hides and the 2nd day after installing she was rolling on her back, belly up. It’s been about a week since I have installed the diffuser and the cat is peeing a little less and her attentive behavior is wonderful! Thank you!!!
