This elegantly designed cage came together in less than an hour. The bottom is nice and deep, keeping the detritus in, and the drawer is straightforwardly designed
This elegantly designed cage came together in less than an hour. The bottom is nice and deep, keeping the detritus in, and the drawer is straightforwardly designed. I like the pull-out feature of the bottom grate. I took one star off because the wire spacing is the usual half inch, not a quarter inch as advertised. I knew it was too good to be true. I count on a narrow space between wires because I have a cat. At least all the walls are horizontally wired (important for parakeets’ need to climb.) The icing on the cake for me personally is the fact that the feeders are made in UKRAINE!

I recently returned 2 cages before settling on this one for my finch. Both cages were cheaply made, flimsy, and poor design. I REALLY LIKE this cage. It does have to be put together (which proved somewhat difficult) but it's VERY SOLID! I don't like the "perch" they sent so I bought my own. (I do wish it came with standard dowel perches). The food/water containers are brilliant! You can swing them open and slide out the containers to refill without any mess. Once I figured out how to use the swing clips to keep them closed I was sold! There is NO MESS with this cage too because of the high wood sides. The bars are a coated metal that makes them smooth but VERY STRONG! Finches need horizontal cages vs tall ones and those are NOT EASY to find in a small/average size. This cage is perfect! All in all, totally worth the money. Highly recommend!

It comes with everything, but ours had missing items like the perches. At any rate Chewy stood behind everything and made sure we got everything we needed to set up our cage for our feathered friends. Thankyou Chewy.
