This new one is perfect. My Buster took to it immediately. Well, he was using both of them at first. He was mainly using the new one but he would leave a little something in the old one just for me until I was comfortable with tossing it out. This is just like the description. When my Buster comes out he leaves the litter on the lid. When he jumps down there isn’t much left to get on the floor. I love it. The litter doesn’t go down as fast either since it’s not being kicked out of the box! I love it.
The top seems not as strong and sturdy for a heavier cat. It did not say anything about California P65 cancer warning online when I purchased it . When delivered

Solved the leaky lid problem
My old two piece box kept allowing urine to leak out under the lid and making a mess on the floor. No problems with it now. Perfect solution.

I wish I would have known about this sooner, the other litter boxes have no way to keep litter off the paws and off the floor. This is great! My dog who likes to have scobby snacks can no longer get at them, the cats have privacy and I don’t have to clean up litter scattered everywhere. Definitely worth it

I really like the size of this top entry litterbox. The other great thing are the holes in the top so when the climb out it sort of cleans their paws. It is perfect

I need a top entry as one of kitties literally digs to China after using the box. 😹 The five star with a note is because the bottom is not smooth. So used cat litter clumps in the raised edges and takes extra effort to clean it. Poor design. Litter boxes need smooth bottoms for easier cleaning.
