I’m really impressed with this set. Two out of our three dogs are terrified of getting their nails trimmed. I think the fact that these are so sharp and they really let you see clearly what you’re doing, makes the job so much easier. I didn’t think they were going to go for the file, but they didn’t mind it at all. I think I found my new favorite clippers. I’ve probably tried three or four different ones so I have to say I’m really impressed!!! I was only able to do a little bit on this girl because hers got rather long and when they get long, you have to do a little bit at a time but we had a good experience and that’s a plus!

Clipping nails safely!

It is very important to safely clip both dog and cat nails and make it a good experience. I usually use a dremel, as I have large dogs, but gave this product a try

It is very important to safely clip both dog and cat nails and make it a good experience. I usually use a dremel, as I have large dogs, but gave this product a try. I found the Fido to be sharp and to cut well without any torque to the nail bed. I groom mostly large dogs and it worked well on the larger nails. I think this nail clipper would be ideal for the smaller dogs and also cats for trimming the sharp ends of the nails. The guard is perfect for avoiding taking too much off but it is still important to take even less nail off to start. This will avoid cutting the quick and bleeding.

I have a senior dog who was pretty ok with me using this on him. His nails grow way faster than he sees the vet so it's nice to have this on hand. Our other dog hates to have her feet touched so my hope is to get her to allow me to at least do them for her since she at least trusts me.
