Decent cat brush

It’s a bit much for my short haired Toyger and I find a simple plastic comb works better for me but if you have a cat with a longer coat this would be great.

Just like the title says, hair is cleanly ejected after a couple pushes of the button. It collects my dog's fine hair easily and does not irritate his sensitive skin. I don't really use the UV light...I mean, I do but I haven't found anything yet. That might be specific to cats. I've tried many different brushes and they all sucked. The ejection was sloppy and mildly effective at best. This is the exact opposite...I promise you will like this brush. It might not be ideal for husky level shedding, but for my pitt and his fine hair it is like Poseidon's Trident, but instead of controlling the ocean it collects hair.

Good cat brush and cats like it

I like how this cat brush feels in my hand because it has rubber handle. It is especially easy to release the cat hair that is collected. I haven't used the light

I like how this cat brush feels in my hand because it has rubber handle. It is especially easy to release the cat hair that is collected. I haven't used the light option yet, but seems like it would come in handy, especially if your cat has skin issues and you want to be able to see them better. My cats do not have skin issues so I'm not sure I will use the light very often. I also like that it's purple and green so it's easy to find amongst my cats' toy basket which is where I keep it. I had something similar, although much larger, but it did not have the lights. Because of the lights it does seem like this would be a unique cat brush amongst all that are out there. I like this size better than the one I used to have (which I gave to a friend who had a long haired fluffy cat). I would recommend this as a cat brush.

Works on my short haired cat!

I had tried another self cleaning slicker brush as well as the ZoomGroom, but neither was thoroughly picking up hair from my short haired cat. This one is amazing!

I had tried another self cleaning slicker brush as well as the ZoomGroom, but neither was thoroughly picking up hair from my short haired cat. This one is amazing! The shorter width and bendable head helps the brush glide along the contours of her body, allowing it to pick up more hair. It also doesn’t redeposit hair the way some brushes do. And I like that the ends are not sharp like some other brushes. The self-cleaning feature works super well too. I don’t use the light so can’t speak to that. She still doesn’t like brushing but will tolerate it as long as I’m giving her a Churu at the same time.

Jupur's new slicker came today and what a different grooming experience for her! Jupur has extremely sensitive dry skin and gets overstimulated and bites with just normal petting. Well, all that changed today. She couldn't get enough grooming and I got a ton of hair out of her thick short fur. The real test though was when I carefully tried to groom her tail. She barely flinched and I got quite a bit of hair and dander out of her tail. Poor girl, no wonder she bites when touched with a regular grooming tool. Thank you Chewy for selling such a wonderful product!

I use this brush on my cats and they really like it. They were rolling around while I was brushing them. The brush gently removes loose hair and the flexible handle

I use this brush on my cats and they really like it. They were rolling around while I was brushing them. The brush gently removes loose hair and the flexible handle prevents discomfort while brushing them. It takes a bit to get used to the handle bending but it does make brushing more comfortable for the cats. The woods light is a great to look for ringworm. I did test it on the cats and wont use it every time I brush them, but its a nice option to have. I did accidentally turn the light the light on a couple of times while brushing the cats but once I got used to the flexible handle and the location of the button for the light it was fine
