The bag of Salmon Strips were enjoyed by my two dogs. The strips were of decent size and texture. My one dog woofed it down and the other dog had to scope it out

The bag of Salmon Strips were enjoyed by my two dogs. The strips were of decent size and texture. My one dog woofed it down and the other dog had to scope it out before she ate it. There was no odor to the strips much to my surprise.Looking at the bag, I was concerned that there would not be many strips in the package, but I was wrong as the strips really didn't take up that much room in the bag. In all, I think that the dogs really enjoyed this treat.

These yummy treats are more like Salmon skins. My dogs loved them. They seem to be healthy per reading the ingredients. If it were up to my dogs they would give these treats 10 stars. I would read the label carefully as you do not refrigerate these treats and they need to be consumed by your dog within 30 days of opening the package. One thing I really was hesitant about these treats is they are really greasy. Now maybe it is a good fish oil that makes these treats so oily, I don’t know. But I was hesitant to give them the suggested serving size due to the oil.

Whenever I eat salmon, I give my dogs the skin since it’s good for their skin and has high omega 3 in it. When I saw these salmon strips were for sale I immediately wanted to try them. First impression out of the bag was the pieces were 2 inches or so and stunk like fish. They were crunchy and pretty oily, too. However, my dogs went absolutely nuts for them. They aren’t usually counter surfers but for this treat they were naughty. So while the treats smelled bad and were oily, my dogs loved them. It’s a healthy snack that I’ll be buying again in the future.

I have 2 dogs that absolutely love fishy treats - freeze dried salmon, fish skin…all absolute favorites. Most of the ones we’ve tried are small pieces, and I have to feed my two large dogs multiple pieces at a time. These Finfare strips are long, and I can give each dog just one strip at a time. They take it and run off to eat it instead of staying and waiting around for more! Smaller pieces in the bottom of the bag do get a little bit oily (see photo), so just save those for when you have easy access to a sink.

My dogs went bananas for these ! They have a very strong fish smell , and are slightly greasy. But they are packed with omega 3 for a good healthy coat ! I love the fact they are in differnt size peices so my multi dog house hold was able to have a peice for them with out me having to break them apart! I think these are perfect for all size dogs and all ages of dogs !
