My 9.5 lb shitzu loves these. I chop them up and put on top of her kibble. She always eat every morsel of the topper, along with kibble but it's clear that she goes

My 9.5 lb shitzu loves these. I chop them up and put on top of her kibble. She always eat every morsel of the topper, along with kibble but it's clear that she goes for the topper first. The freeze dried pieces looked more complicated, i.e., not consistent texture throughout and whatever the reason, ingredients, etc., she seems to like these more than other toppers that I have tried.

Not so good in my opinion.

2 of the 4 pups refused to eat period if it was in their bowl. I use freeze dried as a topper on their kibble. Never had that problem before.

Great for a treat, albeit stinky

I only received a small bag of this, so I wasn't able to feed it as food as I would run out before I transitioned my pup properly. But she likes this as a treat

I only received a small bag of this, so I wasn't able to feed it as food as I would run out before I transitioned my pup properly. But she likes this as a treat so I use this as special reward. I find it stinky but I find a lot of the better pet treats and food stinky, just something you get used to when you love them. My cats also found it appealing and reading the ingredients, I didn't find anything they can't eat (although never as a complete meal since this is balanced towards dogs). If I was given a bigger bag, I would have tried to see if she enjoyed this as a meal!!
