How wide is the bottle mouth?

The mouth on this feeder is almost as wide as the bottle itself. It's very easy to fit a regular bottle brush in to clean it. The base is easy to take apart and reassemble during cleaning. The hardest part to clean are the slots the hummingbirds drink from, and I just use a toothbrush on the top and bottom to make sure they are clean. I've tried several of the inexpensive versions of hummingbird feeders, and this is the easiest to clean and the hummers love it. I'm comfortable recommending this one for others to try

Is this hummingbird feeder BPA free?

This feeder is made from PET plastic, and does not contain BPA.

Does the bottom snap on or is it just a screw on at the bottom

If you look closely there are 4 tabs spaced evenly by the perch. My friend had an oriole get his foot caught in that small opening between tab and perch. She was

If you look closely there are 4 tabs spaced evenly by the perch. My friend had an oriole get his foot caught in that small opening between tab and perch. She was able to free him because she was lucky to see this, but he lost his foot. Don't recommend for this reason.

Last in Many Hummingbird Feeders I've Bought

One feeder was fine, came apart easily for cleaning, easy to put back together. The second has a problem, top half of base does not easily (or at all) click back

I have had a hummingbird feeder destroyed by deers, little birds drink water out of the ant moat, and one that leaked. This was a "fast" replacement. I don't know

I have had a hummingbird feeder destroyed by deers, little birds drink water out of the ant moat, and one that leaked. This was a "fast" replacement. I don't know that I will buy another kind! Easy to fill & clean. More hummingbirds since I put this up (it is actually red) and will be getting one more with my next order.

Affordable and loved by my hummingbirds

The perch helps the hummingbirds rest while eating so they stay longer and I can enjoy watching them. Cleaning them is easy, and I haven’t found it full of ants

Needed some fast replacements for my birdfeeders that broke in the storms.

So I ordered 3 very inexpensive and fairly small birdfeeders to fill in while I looked for some really nice birdfeeders. This one was very small and when I tried

So I ordered 3 very inexpensive and fairly small birdfeeders to fill in while I looked for some really nice birdfeeders. This one was very small and when I tried to take it apart to fill it with fluid, the bottom of the birdfeeder was cross threaded onto the base of the jar so that you can't remove the bottom. I could still fill it up, but didn't realize that if it was cross threaded, it wouldn't seal. Yeah, there's a sticky mess on my deck where the contents drained out. At least it wasn't alot. I was thinking I could soak it in hot water and get the bottom off that way. Then I decided to order some others that weren't cheap plastic. I think I have 5 birdfeeders coming in a couple days. I guess I'm going to be making a arbor now to hang them all on.
