It's ok but not the best out there

I like most of this starter kit...the betta leaf is great, the gravel is clean and natural looking, the test strips when compared to another brand seemed to be consistent

I like most of this starter kit...the betta leaf is great, the gravel is clean and natural looking, the test strips when compared to another brand seemed to be consistent with each other's results. But the Tetra heater would not heat to what I needed it to, which was 78 degrees. The aquarium is beautiful, but the black plastic strip that covers the area of the filter does not stay put and the glass sliding cover is a bit awkward to slide and collects water drops on the inside which I don't think is visually appealing. I would not recommend this bundle because of the heater and the aquarium...there are better options. After having it for a month, I decided to purchase a different aquarium that has the features I am looking for, and a different heater that is accurate. I will keep the aquarium as a back up.
