This is a review of the ring and the donut together. When I first received product, I ran into the same issue many other reviewers mentioned: the donut seemed too small for the stabilizer ring. I called Chewy and spoke with a customer service representative, and together we looked through the reviews. We found one that mentioned the key is proper inflation. This turned out to be true. Instead of using the small hand pump included, I used a standing bike pump, which was much quicker and easier. At first, I underinflated the donut and, like many others experienced, it was too small for the ring. Then I overinflated it and it became wobbly. When I underinflated it again, I had the same problem. I also underinflated the ring at first, which didn’t give the donut enough support. What finally worked was inflating the donut while it was placed inside the ring, then adjusting both until the fit was snug and stable. Each time I made an adjustment, I pressed along the edge of the donut to make sure it was properly seated and supported by the ring. I’m giving both products four stars for lack of instructions from the company.

I purchased this product after my French Bulldog underwent spine surgery and we were instructed on its use by a rehab specialist. It sat in the package for several months until his formal rehab ended and we were to begin at home rehab. I opened the package to set it up only to find a large hole at the seam where the item was folded. Totally useless and now leaving me no choice but to take the risk in ordering another one. What a waste of money.
Holder and Donut Do Not Fit
I would like to return this set. I am very disappointed. The holder ring is the correct size at approximately 21". The purple donut that is supposed to sit on top
I would like to return this set. I am very disappointed. The holder ring is the correct size at approximately 21". The purple donut that is supposed to sit on top is only approximately 17" and completely sits inside the holder and not on the holder making the donut unstable and the holder worthless.
Disappointed
Doesn't fit the TraxDonut it's suggested for. Way too large. Very disappointed.

I do not find that this actually will keep the object stable, depending on where the dog places his paws. I am going to try adding more air, and slightly deflating the object, perhaps my expectations were too high?

We primarily got this to help stabilize the fitpaws donut, and it does that well. Our pup is a bit.. enthusiastic... with his use of fitness gear, so we still have to be watchful (he sometimes jumps on/off the donut so quickly that he still knocks it askew even with the holder, and then can flip it on round two without adjusting it). I thought the ring might be too small for our >50lb golden puppy to comfortably walk/hop through (we haven’t practiced tunnels at all), but he marched right through with no hesitation, and doesn’t usually get his paws tangled up if jumping through (at a low height; he’s still very young).
