The LED light attaches easily to the Flexi retractable leash. It provides enough light to monitor your pet and provides hands-free lighting to enable you to pick up after your dog does its business. You need a USB type A charger to use with the cable that comes in the box, although the port on the lighting system is USB type C. Flexi should include complete instructions online since the small instruction paper is easy to lose.

Finally I have solved the problem of taking my dog out at night without biting a flashlight between my teeth or swatting moths away from my face as they try to get to the light on my headlamp. This leash light makes it easy to go out in the dark without all of the inconveniences. There are multiple brightness settings and a flashing red light for safety. The light comes with a round Velcro circle that adheres to the leash casing. The light can then be attached to the leash when needed or removed during daylight hours or during sporting activities. I only wish that the light came with more than one adhesive circle because my retractable leash broke recently and now I have no way to adhere the light to a new leash. The Chai's Choice refelective, retractable leash is only 2 months old so now I either need to buy a new light to get another Velcro circle or buy some Velcro strips and make a new circle. But, it's not the fault of the Flexi LED Lighting people that my new leash was trash. However, retractable leashes don't last forever and it would have been nice to have a second Velcro circle.

never know when it will turn off

These replaced older model that had two AAA batteries with a rechargeable battery. Battery will just stop working without warning. Have to keep it plug in all

These replaced older model that had two AAA batteries with a rechargeable battery. Battery will just stop working without warning. Have to keep it plug in all the time to recharger. Much easier to just pop in two batteries every 4 months when it begins to dim

Great tool addition to the flexi leads. I have them on all my leads.

It helps me walk my English Lab in the dark by highlighting the sidewalk and the red beacons alert other dog walkers of our approach. We all take turns crossing

A Must Try!

I didn’t know I was even missing a lighted leash until I received and installed this one. Honestly, I added this to my order to get over the free shipping total

I didn’t know I was even missing a lighted leash until I received and installed this one. Honestly, I added this to my order to get over the free shipping total. We don’t live in a populated area, so we never needed lights for others to see us, but having a bright flashlight on these dark winter mornings and not having to use my other had to hold a flashlight or phone to watch for ice or the stairs is a game changer. The light is nice and bright and the charge is lasting quite a while!
