Along with a quality formulated hermit crab diet, your hermit crab can and should eat, a variety of fruits. Safe fruits for your hermit crab to eat include: mango, papaya, coconut (fresh or sugar-free dried), apple, banana, grapes, pineapple, strawberry, melon, and raisins.

Mix with distilled water to create a creamy texture and hand feed to your crabs using feeder spoon, or place in small dish. Refrigerate any unused mixture. Treats can also be fed dry.

I've had my hermit crabs for 5+ years.. I like to try new things for them. When I opened the package it is a tiny bag inside a box with a scoop. It is so hard to get it out without spilling it. I would probably purchase again if they change packaging and give more for the cost.

I normally don't write reviews, but my little hermit crab insisted I do! Each time I have fed Lenny this treat, it is completely gone by the next morning--I mean, no trace left! About a year or so ago he had a treat that included coconut that he really liked, but it went off the market. What caused me to try this treat was that it also contained coconut. I haven't tried the spoon feeding yet--he's a pretty independent crab, but maybe sometime in the future we'll try that too! Oh, and I've just been giving it to him dry, not mixed with water.
