Can I add more than "required" while the tank is cycling (no fish), then use it for a month before adding fish? Thanks!

We recommend using the manufacturer's suggestion. New aquariums will use this for three days in a row. On day 1, you'll use 25 milliliters per every 10 gallons. On day 2, you'll use 10 milliliters for every 10 gallons. On day 3, you'll use 10 milliliters per every 10 gallons. If you've added fish, you'll use 10 milliliters for every 10 gallons. If used for weekly dosage for regular maintenance activities and to maintain a strong beneficial biological colony, you'll use 5 milliliters for every 10 gallons.

How many gallons does this treat?

A 4 fl oz bottle will treat up to 240 US Gal. A 8.4 fl oz bottle will treat up to 500 US Gal. A 16.9 fl oz bottle will treat up to 1000 US Gal.
What's the difference between Fluval Biological Booster, Cleaner, and Enhancer? They seem like the same exact thing?

Fuval Cycle

I have used Fuval Cycle biological booster for several years. It works well and I add it to new tanks. I also add it after every water change. I was glad to see the larger size on Chewy.

Does the job

This product does work, but please do not put fish in the same day. Follow the directions on the label, allow it to work, do your testing then go buy your fish. In my opinion a much safer way and you still cut tons of time off the initial process.

Makes tank fish friendly

Love this product! I take my tank completely apart every two weeks for a thorough cleaning. After adding this product I can pop my goldfish right back immediately. Chet’s a 5 year old goldfish healthy & happy!

Great Product!

I have seen videos on youtube where people use this product for cycling a new tank fast. I have 3 fish tanks but all are already cycled. I used it for maintenance purposes and 1 day after using this in my 55 gallon tank I noticed the glass was cleaner. I use sponge filters so my water is always fairly clear. With Fluval cycle, my water is 100% clear. It looks like my fish are swimming in air, lol!

Finally something worked!

We have struggled for almost two months when my daughter got her goldfish. The tank water would get nasty after 24 hours, and I mean nasty. We had filters, oxygen, water treatments of every possible sort. The last thing to try was to treat the fish and not the water-enter this product! It’s been two weeks and the tank is clear, Tuna seems calmer (no flirting around spastically). Yay!

Fluval makes the best products!

If you own an aquarium, you need this product. It helps get the bacterial chemistry in your tank right. Great for adding fish, water changes and setting up new tanks. Worth the money.

Waste of money

I have now bought 2 bottles of this, after reading such positive reviews. Neither bottle worked. No cycle established. Had to remove my Axolotls from their big tank to cycle the old fashioned way. Thought the first bottle might have been a dud, but had no results with the second bottle, either.

Successful cycle
