I have a 30 gal tank. How much of the cleaner should I use. ? Do I need to take the charcoal out first?

For new set-ups and maintenance it is recommended to use 5 mL per 10 US gallons. For waste buildup it is recommended to use 10 mL per 10 US gallons. It is not required to remove charcoal while treating with this product.
Can you use this for turtles????

This product is intended for use with goldfish, cichlids, and heavily populated aquariums with freshwater marine fish.
Can this be used in a betta bowl? I have a three gallon without a filter, so it would be great to have something to help keep things clean!
