The diffuser is outstanding. But that’s about it. The harness for the co2 canister will not hang on your tank if it’s a rimmed tank. Thats okay, I can work around that, but what I can’t work around is the fact that the bubble counter/check valve would not hold pressure. In order to get 1-2 bps, I had to open the regulator WAY up. Due to the BC/CV leaking from the threads, it bled a whole canister in an hour. A replacement set of canisters is just over $30, so there’s more than $10 wasted. I have to spend more money to get a check valve and bubble counter that are actually quality built. Also, the tubing shipped with the set is too short if the harness cannot hang on the tank. It also appears to be a little thin, and isn’t rated for higher pressures that comes with co2. Save yourself some money and get a quality parts outright instead of wasting time, effort, and your hard earned money on this garbage. Btw, you can buy the diffuser separate for under $10. That’s the only part I can recommend.

Works Great, if you add plumbers tape...

So when I set this up I knew I'd need plumbers tape. Add it to where the canister screws into the valve/gauge. Check all of your connections, I just dipped mine in the tank and looked for bubbles. So far I've had it running for 2 weeks and I'm only half way through my first CO2 tank. I took a star off because I had to buy plumbers tape separately when it really should've been included.

I found setting everything up was easy. I found a useful video on the Fluval website. The only thing I'm uncertain on is the tanks and the regulator. This was my first time setting up a system like this, or any aquarium in general. The tank lasted less than a week. I only had it on when I had the lights on, which is 12 hours. (I'm adjusting this based on things I've read, but who knows.) I hope it was user error, otherwise I think it would be a better investment to get a regualr sized CO2 regulator.

This product works fine. Make sure you use co2 grade hose and screw the tank on quickly and tight. Then open the tank slowly, a little at a time until yiu see the bubbles start coming out of the bubbler, one bubble per second. Before you start soak the diffuser in water and let it sit for 12 to 24 hours before use. Thisbis what i do and has been working great. Use it only when the lights are on.

Complete Garbage

Would give it less than 1 star if that was an option. Believe the bad reviews that you read. It leaked the first tank slowly over night. Took time to reassemble

Would give it less than 1 star if that was an option. Believe the bad reviews that you read. It leaked the first tank slowly over night. Took time to reassemble it with the first refill, it blew out the tank immediately. Tried again with the same result. Don’t do it.
