Instructions

I have four indoor cats and four indoor-outdoor cats, and the FlyDog Pretty Kitty waterless foam shampoo has quickly become a favorite. I especially love using it on my outdoor cats — they often come in a little dusty or dirty, and this foam freshens them up instantly without any stress. The included mitten with the scrubber brush is fantastic for removing loose hair, and my cats absolutely love the massaging feeling while I use it. It’s quick, easy, and keeps my cats smelling fresh between baths. I’ve found it to be gentle, effective, and perfect for cats who aren’t fans of traditional baths. I would definitely recommend FlyDog Pretty Kitty to other cat owners and will be purchasing it again. It makes grooming so much easier and more enjoyable for both me and my cats.

I was very excited to try the Flydog waterless kitten shampoo. Received the package and everything packaged well. The mitt seemed very soft, however the bristles seemed rather short and not super sturdy. After about 4-5 pumps the foam started coming out of the applicator and I immediately put it on Ares our “test kitten”. The smell was really nice and wasn’t overwhelming lavender or vanilla but a nice combination of both. I started rubbing it in with the mitt and also brushing through his fur. While the smell is quite pleasant I noticed an almost sticky feeling to Ares fur. I read through directions again and we were not supposed to have rinsed him off. However I did rinse him off. It would have attracted every dust and dirt particle around the house. I could say that it did cut down bath time by half which is a definite plus and the smell was awesome but definitely NOT a total waterless bathing option for your kitty but definitely not bad either!!

Because of this you can’t use your fingers individually to massage it in. You kind of just have to rub in circles and try to get it as close to the skin as possible. If your cat has thick or long hair, it can be difficult.

Who needs the headache of giving a cat a full on bath as my cats simply do not comply and I end up scratched to pieces. The reason I gave it 4 stars is the scent. It leaves a strong lasting scent which was overwhelming for me and mostly for my cat. I’d like to see a fragrance free option and I’d highly recommend to everyone!

The dry shampoo itself is gentle, so it’s perfect for quick touch ups or for kittens who definitely aren’t fans of water. The grooming glove is a nice bonus! It makes brushing easy and feels like a little spa moment for them. Their coats looked fluffy, clean, and soft afterward, and they didn’t fuss as much as with a regular bath. This kit makes keeping them fresh so simple and stress-free... definitely one we’ll keep using.
Works great to clean an elderly kitty.

Didn't fuss or complain at all while massaging it into the coat and brushing it clean with the glove. In fact that glove works great by itself to just remove loose dander and hair when they can't groom. The two sides are different and one is more like a lint brush for clothes while the other is better for the massage/cleaning.

I didn't use the glove as the cats didn't like it. I would purchase this again. It is good to use on elderly cats who need extra care. Overall I was satisfied with the shampoo
