It’s an invaluable resource for teaching your pup new commands, reinforcing good habits, and eliminating unwanted behavior including excessive barking.

Key Benefits

Instructions

In order to find a perfect whistle pitch match for your dog, you may begin by performing a simple wake up test as follows:

  • Give time to your dog to rest; wait until he/she has fallen deeply asleep.
  • Separate the plastic dust cover from your whistle to adjust the pitch and tailor it to your dog’s ears.
  • Unscrew the pitch adjuster rod almost all the way, preventing full separation from the main body of the whistle. You should leave the rod attached by at least two full turns.
  • Gently but steadily blow the whistle while rotating the adjuster rod until you observe your dog react to the ultrasonic pitch. The reaction you want to obtain is a full, immediate wake up; however, often times dogs will react by merely perking up their ears and pointing them in the general direction of the sound.
  • When you obtain a reaction from your dog to the sound of the whistle, secure that pitch by tightening the locking nut into place. This will ensure that your whistle elicits a positive response from your pet every time.
  • Test the reaction to the sound by allowing your pet to roam away from you, or to fall asleep again, then blow on the whistle at the frequency you obtained before. If your dog perks up at the sound your whistle is emitting, you have a correct match.

If your dog does not react to the whistle’s frequency, try modifying the pitch by following these steps again until you obtain a matching frequency for your dog.

    it works I promise

Seeing all the negative reviews I was intrigued. How could a whistle get bad reviews?? It works, it makes a noise, it's not defective - so why was everyone complaining? Because in order for a dog whistle to work, you need to train your dog to understand what is expected of them when they hear the whistle. My dog did not immediately know what the whistle meant. That is the training portion. So for everyone writing poor reviews for the whistle - it is just a whistle at a very good price. What is required is training. After a few weeks of training with treats and commands, my dog is learning what hearing the whistle means. Doesn’t work as promised

By LSUF on Jan 20, 2021

When you get the actual training information, after being required to give them your email, it explains how it doesn’t really do what their advertising says. This works no different than a regular “sit” or “come” command with your voice. I want to deter my dog from jumping up at the counters, but this whistle training simply suggests using the whistle to teach “come” (just as you would with a voice command) and that by simply using the whistle, after teaching your dog the “come” or “sit” commands with it, that your dog will all of a sudden miraculously stop the bad behavior just as they would if you commanded to “come” with your voice. How silly!! Meh, just ok

By Lizzy on Nov 4, 2020

I thought this would be a silent dog whistle. My husband and I both hear it. Fortunately, so does the dog. I tried a few variations until I found one that quickly got his attention. I am hoping to use it when he gets overly friendly around people. Perhaps the whistle will distract his attention to me and away from jumping on the person. We'll see.
