Formula 707 Weight Gain Crumble Horse Supplement, 7-lb bag

I have 2 very old (30 & 22) hard keepers. They're ridiculously finicky with their hay and really only want the grain. They love, love, love the weight gain taste as I have put just a tiny bit on my hand and they licked it clean! The reason for the 3 stars is this is an INCREDIBLY expensive product compared to other more effective products on the market. The tub holds 28 servings. For a hard keeper, it's fed 2x a day which equals enough for 2 weeks. Add another horse, you have enough for 7 days... I CAN NOT afford that kind of money. There are other products at my local farm store that are actually more effective at a CONSIDERABLY lower price. True they don't smell or taste as heavenly but, no problem being picked up in grain. It will do the job, ingredients read as effective as others however it only lasted me a week. Back to the farm store!
