The consistency is neither hard nor soft. It is softer than lip balm and harder than a cream.

Does it dry nicely? It looks like more of an oil base, I don’t want to see little kitty prints all over the floor haha.

My dog now runs from "butter time"

My dog did not like this product at all. I used it once and all it did was make his nose white, which was odd looking. It provided no moisture at all and his nose
