My 14 lb female mix chihuahua loves this stuff and she has been very picky about dry food. I noticed she particularly loves fish formula dry food above anything else. I looked up some of the better fish dry foods and this one got top reviews. So I gave it a shot and she gobbles it up. Maybe your pup will love it too or maybe not...
My standard poodle has TERRIBLE allergies and it is difficult finding a food that is limited ingredient. This particular line is perfect- Watson so far could only tolerate an Rx HP diet and rabbit formula (which was $125/24 pounds!) He loves the flavor more than the Rx ones he has been on, my only complaint was that this brand had a grain inclusive line.
Forza it is a good brand in overage. But all formulas are so different and previously in whire bad puppy chondro ( different line ) was good. Those one after one week my dog refused to eat, and it is not any skin or coat improvement. While eating Farmins grain free his skin and coat better asap. Thank you, Chewy, for refund me Wellness dog food which was allergic for my baby. I tired of wasting money and be back to Farmina( unfortunately, Chewy does not carry Pumpkin line which my dog likes a lot).
One dog was ok with it. The other vomitted both times she ate it
My dogs have had chronic skin issues their entire life. One of them has been on Apoquel for close to two years now, unable to wean off without flares. They've been on this food for two weeks now and I already see an improvement. I started tapering the apoquel down and I'm very hopeful that she'll be off of it soon. I pair it with a tablespoon or so of the canned wet food. I've tried expensive hypoallergenic foods in the past, they either wouldn't eat it and/or didn't work worth a darn. This actually feels and smells like quality dog food and the dogs seem to enjoy it as well.
It is too soon to tell ! My pet is not taking to this new food yet. Is there a small dog or puppy version?
I have been feeding my dog this food for a few months and recently got a new bag. Today I found a long rubber/plastic piece in the bag. I am not sure what it could be or if it could cause any harm to my pup.
My vet recommended this food because Millie had an allergic itch on her belly. This food made all the difference within a week she had no redness or itching. Now after a month, she has no doggie odor and softer fur. Make sure you transition slowly because it may upset their system.
I prefer to pay with my PayPal balance, not have to use a credit card, or any other type of credit, Chewy does not allow me to do that. I will not continue to buy from Chewy for that reason, unless they change their policy.
Since I tried switching my pups to this dog food, they have stopped eating and the older one has lost weight - she was 8 lbs and is now only 6.8 lbs - the younger one, still a 5 month old pup, has only gained 1/10 of a lb in the last month. She was gaining 1 lb per month.
