Snuffle mat
Macey is not a fast eater but is a pickey one. The snuffle mat helps becasue her kibble becomes a game and she eats what is placed in the mat. Otherwise, half her dinner gets thrown out because she does not eat it.
Good Starter Mat
I bought this for my almost 2 yo JRT. She loves snuffle mats, but will tear up cheaper ones. So, I invested in this based on the reviews. The fabric is very sturdy and I like the option to interlock mats. BUT, I did not realize that the plastic grid on the back means that food and treats can fall through and end up on the ground. That is why I took off 2 stars.
Don't buy if your dog is a chewer
IN LESS THAN A MINUTE IT WAS CLEAR, this is not safe (even with supervision) and certainly not worth the money! SECONDS after placing it on the floor, my dog found the plastic tabs on the side and easily snapped them off and began chewing on them. I thought it was a fluke, but on a second try she actually broke off part of the plastic webbing. The plastic was extremely brittle.
Do Not Buy
this is the worst snuffle mat I have ever purchased. Compared to others it has half the number of fabric. Dog food falls through all the openings due to it's lack of fabric. Also, no idea why it is twice the price of the others when it is half the product.
Snuffle Mat
This is fun for my Aussie but he finds all the treats within five minutes whereas this toy is advertised for hours of fun for your pet. I know he is very smart but this is crazy. Are all these other dogs who spend hours on this having nasal problems???

I ordered two. They were smaller than I thought they would be for the price.
