      Can this be installed into cement?

      Can I use the Four Paws walk about overhead trolley and tie out cable made for dogs up to 100 lbs. on a dog that is or maybe heavier than 100 lbs.

      The Four Paws Heavy Weight Overhead Trolley Exerciser is designed for dogs over 50 pounds, and will work well with a pet over 100 pounds.

      Four Paws recommends the use of a harness with this product. The security/effectiveness of this product will depend on the material into which it is embedded. Loose soil, or soft, dry or rotting wood, for example, may not provide for a secure installation. Be forewarned that a strong or determined animal may still be capable of pulling itself free from this product, as with all such similar devices.

      Can the aerial cable be attached by wrapping around a tree or post and secured with a carabiner? Or does it need to be on a hook screwed into a thing?

      The aerial cable requires the use of the included screw hooks.

      Strength and longevity!

      Max resides in the Adirondack Mountains of NY, we have plenty of moisture rain / snow and this trolley has held up very well! Max is a 55 lb. Black Mouth Cur, lightening

      Max resides in the Adirondack Mountains of NY, we have plenty of moisture rain / snow and this trolley has held up very well! Max is a 55 lb. Black Mouth Cur, lightening fast and determined to get that deer in the yard, so there has been some SERIOUS tugging on that equipment and recently, he ran hard and fast enough he straightened the eye hook in the wall and the one at the other end on the tree!!! (And off he went with the cable attached in pursuit of the deer!) The original trolley has to be at least 7 years old and my husband said, after I had already ordered one, he could have just replaced the eye hooks. A couple spots on the run had some vinyl missing but I felt better replacing the whole thing. Lesson learned again, never let your guard down and check the yard before letting the dog out! By the way, he didn’t go far after the deer, stopped by the road, good boy!

      Easy to assemble but quality is meh

      Kit is convenient, easy to put together. But, I've noticed sagging from original setup, making me think that the bolts holding one end of the run line are allowing

      Kit is convenient, easy to put together. But, I've noticed sagging from original setup, making me think that the bolts holding one end of the run line are allowing slipping (I have those cranked as tight as can be). Also, one of the anchors for line is showing signs of bending from the dog pulling horizontally on the line, making me question whether some of the equipment is really as strong as advertised (dog is 50lbs).

      I don't think Mochi likes this, and she certainly does not get any exercise. The product is good quality and it was easy to install. But, when I put Mochi on the lead, she just sits down on the front steps and does not move, sometimes for an hour our more. Sadly, not what I was hoping for.

      I bought this one to replace my old one that's 21 years old.

      I bought this to replace my old one because the clip was starting to get rusty and it has to hold two small dogs. They love the old one so I'm sure this spring once

      The guide wheel makes it smoother for my dog to run.

      Although my dog routinely has the run of an exceptionally large backyard, there are times such as a new snowfall or a late night potty tripthat necessitates easier retrieval of an exuberant labrador puppy. The system allows for just that I can let her on the trolley with a new snowfall and know that I can safely restrict her exuberant bouncing.
