Oatmeal conditioner is very thick. I put some in a container mixing with warm water, mix and pour over the coat. Fur is silky and soft on my curly terrier and I think it calms his hyper-sensitive skin. Just don't use too much at a time as it can cake up on the skin and that can be troublesome.
