Nice brush
The Dog Brush Works well for our puppy so far great product
Hard brush
This is a well made brush but a bit too hard for my poodles.
Bristles are really sharp but does remove excess hair
The wire bristles seem to be potentially painful so I had to be very careful and cautious when using it on my dog. I got it because it said it’s for puppies and good for dogs with sensitive skin. But the wire bristles are really sharp and prickly - like staples! It does seem to remove the hair well but not good for sensitive skin or thinner coats. Maybe good for a thick lab coat?? But I won’t be using this for my pup.
Very disappointed
I ordered this brush for work & I love the handle size BUT the bristles are horrible. I used it today to brush out 4 dogs after drying them & the bristles are all bent & falling over. Today was the 1st time I used it. Customer service was awesome when I called them.
Pup is not a fan. Wonder if it hurts her?
I know pups in general do not like to be brushed, but my pup particularly runs away from this one no matter how gentle I am. Reading other reviews I can't help but wonder if it is too sharp.
Not gentle
I am very disappointed in this brush! It claims to be gentle on sensitive skin and I tested it on the palm of my hands and it wasn’t to bad but then tested it on the back of my arm and it left scratches everywhere! My dog hates this brush and it doesn’t work at all! Very upset about this purchase!
Caused discomfort for my last dog (Maltese Rat terrier mix)
My last dog, who loved being brushed refused to come to be bushed with this product due to it being too sharp. This product isn't very effective.
Not what I expected!
This brush is not at all what I thought I was ordering. It's not gentle at all and does not resemble anything close to a "slicker brush". I'm disappointed.
much too harsh
I'm just saving it for the horses. It's really stiff wire, much too stiff for my beautiful puppy.
Great brush
Its a good size brush even for a shih tzu puppy. It's a little hard to clean the inner parts of the brush so I pick at it with a toothpick, which I don't mind doing.
