will this work for my dog? he is a one year old long hair saint Bernard and he has really bad mats almost like dreadlocks in between his legs and in his tail.

Fluffy hair

Both of my fur babies hair is extremely fluffy so it's easy to matt so this helps tremendously

Okay Shampoo.. could be better

I thought the shampoo was just okay. It made my pup's hair soft. The mats did not come out easily, like I thought they would, since shampoo was advertised to help

Cleaned well, does not prevent mats

My American cocker spaniel has a very fine white coat that never gets dirty but does tangle. This shampoo cleaned well but did not add to texture or slipperiness

My American cocker spaniel has a very fine white coat that never gets dirty but does tangle. This shampoo cleaned well but did not add to texture or slipperiness at all and tangles are coming back . I see no help at all from this shampoo conditioner for tangles. It does leave next to no scent, which I like, and cleans nicely. This is not a conditioner.

Works Well

My little poodle mix gets matted easily so I bought this shampoo to help. I ended up shaving most of the mats out before bathing him but this shampoo makes his coat

My little poodle mix gets matted easily so I bought this shampoo to help. I ended up shaving most of the mats out before bathing him but this shampoo makes his coat very soft! The scent is subtle and after a few days I don't smell it much anymore but can still easily run my fingers through his coat.

Great for tangles!

I have purchased this shampoo previously and was unable to find it again, until I found it on your website. It is the 'best' shampoo I've ever used for my 'Yorkie'

I have purchased this shampoo previously and was unable to find it again, until I found it on your website. It is the 'best' shampoo I've ever used for my 'Yorkie'. After using, his coat is so soft and shiny and smells so good. I wouldn't purchase any other shampoo other than this for my dog.

PUPPIES LOVE THEIR BATH

I LOVE CHEWY AND ALL THIER PRODUCTS. THE SHAMPOO FOR TANGLES AND MATS DID THE TRICK. MY PUPS ARE STRUTTING AND SHOWING OFF HOW GOOD THEY LOOK.

I have a soft coated wheaten terrier that came back from the groomer so filled with static that he had golf ball sized mats in 2 days time. After torturing the dog for a few hours in an attempt to comb him out, I used this shampoo and a dematting spray I bought at Chewy.com. It worked great! I'm bringing it to the groomer and telling him to only use these products.
