Great at clumping/odor control but very dusty

We have 3 cats and have been using this litter for a couple of years now. Smells nice, keeps odors under control, and clumps well. Other litter brands we tried just couldn't control the ammonia smell like this one does. However... the amount of dust that this litter puts off is astounding. I actually have to wear a face mask or something to cover my nose or else my sinuses get coated in the dust. It doesn't seem to be too much of an issue once it settles after pouring fresh litter in, or the cats are covering their business in the box, but it was definitely a concern at first since one of our cats is asthmatic.

I love this stuff, i only use fresh step but this one i cannot smell anything so i will continue to get what ever is cheapest right now.

Suddenly very dusty

I love this litter, I’ve been using it for two years now but my last 3 orders I’ve noticed the formula being VERY dusty. Don’t know what changed.

Smells great, still very dusty

As with most clay litters, no matter how dust free they claim to be, they will still be dusty! The scent is nice and I double up with the Arm & Hammer powder to lessen the cat odors. So far that combo seems to work. Just use a large litter mat if your cat tracks a lot of litter around!

Do I like this litter? Yes. Does this litter smell tropical? Yes. Is this litter 99.9% dust free like advertised? Absolutely not.

Thumbs Up!

Usually our litter box is cleaned daily, but I had to travel so it did not get the daily scooping. After a week of the box not being cleaned, it still smells fresh. I have not had the same experience with other litters, so I was very pleased with this.
