My Pom has trouble hopping up onto the couch and needed a little boost. She already has stairs to get onto the bed so we knew she would take to this right away

Sure enough, within the first day it was clear that this is exactly what she needed. She's so happy that she can join everyone on the couch with no help. These stairs are soft foam (so no stubbing your toes on them) and the chocolate brown color is really rich so it blends great with my living room. The fabric has a microfiber/suede feel so it grips the ground nice also.

I purchased these foam steps because my doxie is recovering from ivdd episode and I needed a way for her to safely come off the couch, her previous couch steps are hard plastic. She is a 13 lb doxie and these really didn't support her weight as she walked up the steps to the couch. These definitely aren't worth the price.
