I have a 16lb kitty, will this be able to support him?

This cat tree does not have a weight capacity limit and was designed for cats of all sizes. Cat trees are tested to ensure standalone stability, and wall anchors are provided as an option for additional stability.

Can the condo entrance be put on the opposite side, so that the cat tree is reversed?

Posts and condos should not be removed or replaced. It is recommended to follow the assembly instructions and not omit any parts.

how big are the perches?

Works for bigger cats

I purchased this cat tree to put alongside my desk and replace a clamp on desk bed that kept falling (poor kitty). It's hard to find cat trees for bigger kitties

I purchased this cat tree to put alongside my desk and replace a clamp on desk bed that kept falling (poor kitty). It's hard to find cat trees for bigger kitties. My boy is 17lbs and long-ish (he doesn't fit easily on my lap). But he snoozes comfortably on this cat tree. It was packed well. Nothing was dinged or dented. It took about an hour to put together. The directions were a little tricky to understand at first (they are picture-based), but once I got through step one, the path forward was pretty obvious. Even though kitty is a bigger lad, he fits into the cubby. And he's been using the scratching posts as an aid to stretching. All in all this was a good purchase. As I type this, kitty is sleeping peacefully (snoring!) on the top level, curled up in a donut shape, and I am therefore able to type this review without his interference (erm, I mean his "assistance").

Sleek Design

Directions were not clear about using the dowels, but I've done enough of this kind of thing that I only had to backtrack on the first platform. Description said

Directions were not clear about using the dowels, but I've done enough of this kind of thing that I only had to backtrack on the first platform. Description said cushions are washable which was one reason I chose this product. My brain didn't register that the platforms were 3 sided meaning the cushions would need to be anchored so they don't slide off. It came with sticky sided velcro which may be just fine. Just concerned that the tape may not hold up very long after pulling the cushions off a few times. That is why I only gave it 4 stars. I like the color and more modern design compared to so many other styles of kitty condos that are predominenlty covered with cheap looking carpet-like material.

Directions are only pictures, printed somewhat small and hard to read. Plastic tray with parts came apart during shipping and some were scattered amongst the packing. Probably bagging the parts would be more secure. The box was heavily taped so fortunately no parts escaped! This is rather heavy but I was able to put it together by myself, tho an extra hand would have helped with some of the assembly. Nice product but takes some thinking to assemble.
