pretty but poor design
By kaylyn on Jan 30, 2021
The cat tower is beautiful, not your average cat tower for a great price compared to some other wood cat towers I’ve explored. I should have listened to the reviews and not have wasted my money on something my cat will most likely not use. The top piece is impossible to get down from so I took it off, my cat is 11 so I’m not comfortable with him jumping down from that height. I believe I’ll be able to drill a new hole and move the top tier over without it having stability issues. We’ll see. Anyways. I do not recommend if you’re using this tower by it self. Maybe if you add shelves for stairs but defeats the purpose of a stand alone tower.

With a minor adjustment, this is great!
By GuthrumsMom on Feb 9, 2021
This is a beautiful cat tree. I made two minor adjustments to make it easier for my cats to use. First, I placed the top shelf at an angle so that there's a place for my cat to step going up and down. If you keep it flush to the middle box like in the instructions, it's too hard to use. Second, I used some of that tape you would use on the bottom of a bathtub to give some traction on the middle box so it's not so slippery. My final adjustment is just a preference: I put the window on the middle box on the other side so my cat who likes to look out the window can do so.

It’s okay.

I’ve had this for about 3 months now. I got this cat tree because of its looks, of course but also mostly because I have two large cats and I’ve had to send trees back because of that. Both of my cats are about 13-14 pounds, Pumpkin is short and round and Nox is long and Maine coon like. Pumpkin loves it and lays in in constantly. Nox never bothers. I wanted to get the smaller size of this but it was only available in the gray color at the time and I wish I waited. The design flaws in this are obvious. She only uses the more open cubby and that makes it worth it. We used to lift her up to the top tier and she’d go nuts, she loved it so I ended up removing that top scratching post and Velcroing I’ve had this for about 3 months now. Even my very lengthy cat didn’t have an easy time trying to get up there. The bottom cubby is never used. I even tried removing the circle opening so it more open. The scratching post are used often and those are pretty nice. It’s pretty study too. Overall all, this is a pretty solid price for what it is but this largest one at least, is not the one. … more

Buy this now!
By Kirsten on Jan 14, 2021
My kitten and 1.5 year old [BIG] cat love this tree so much! The oldest never leaves the top nest and they sometimes even snuggle up there together, though I'm not quite sure how they fit. I put this together in about 45 mins with no issues at all. It's been in use for about a month now and so far there are no signs of wear and tear. I'm totally happy with this purchase, the only downside was that they sold out of the grey before I could buy it.

Compromising for style
By EricaMeow on Jan 3, 2021
I despise the look of traditional carpeted cat trees and do like the way this looks. My cats are still small (8 lbs and 7 lbs, but these pics are from when they were smaller). They use the scratching posts often (but do prefer their taller one) and they sleep in the bottom box and on the middle landing. The bottom box is especially good for my girl who needs alone time away from her rambunctious brother. However, they can’t get to the upper level for the same reason others reviewers note. It’s not designed well in that regard. It is also rather slippery and needs more of the textured mats to keep them from sliding around. Have washed the soft white mats in the machine and air dried. Kitties love it
By Tree on Feb 2, 2021
It is true, as others have said, the top “floor” has a design flaw. I solved it by arranging it to go on a diagonal and its still a little challenging but my most adventurous climber loves that part. If your cat isn’t very nimble they may not like the top level though. Also I love the look!!!

Beautiful and functional!
By Dezrae on Feb 3, 2021
I saw reviews about this cat tree being more flashy than functional, but my athletic kitties had no problem getting to the top. If your cats are athletic and like exploring, they will figure out how to get to the top! The cat tree did require a screwdriver and maybe took an hour or two to fully put together. It looks amazing and my kitties love it! It is so beautiful. It is about as tall as I am, and I'm 5"4.

Our cat loves this tree!
By Sarah on Feb 20, 2021
Our cat loves his new tree! He climbs to the top and looks out the window every day. He also LOVES all the scratchers on here. The tree is also super stylish and looks nice with the rest of our furniture. 10/10 do recommend!!!

Looks great but not very useful in design.
By Meems on Dec 29, 2020
I usually read the reviews before purchasing. Don't know why I didn't this time. If I had, I wouldn't have bought it. I didn't notice the flaw in the design until I was halfway through assembling it. I assembled it anyway thinking maybe I was wrong. I wasn't. The middle square and the very top tier are the same size. There's no way a cat will be able to make that leap from the top of that middle box to the top tier. There's no room to maneuver. Both of my cats tried and tried to no avail. The top of the middle box is as far as they got. Now I'll have to think of a way to rig the design so they can get to that top tier. Maybe see if I can extend the top of the middle box out by adding I usually read the reviews before purchasing. Don't know why I didn't this time. If I had, I wouldn't have bought it. Shame to have to ruin the look of it especially since it wasn't cheap and the reason I bought it was for the modern clean lines. Whoever designed this probably doesn't have a cat. … more

SO BEAUTIFUL but disappointing
By Alyssa on Jan 6, 2021
First off, I was really excited to get this cat tree. My cats have LOVED cat trees in the past, and since we were also getting our first pup in the house, we bought them another cat tree so that they could have another place out of reach from the pup. I absolutely loved the aesthetic of this - it looks so pretty/stylish and different from carpeted trees that can looks old and ratty SUPER quick. However, it's been several weeks now, and my cats just aren't interested in this thing, which has been so disappointing to me :( I've tried putting treats all over the tower, putting their favorite cat nip on it, even moving it to different locations in the house, but nothing works. It seems like the white fluffy mats are too slippery for them to jump on, and the cubes are just a little too small for them to relax comfortably in there. Maybe other cats have loved this, but for my two cats, this was a bad purchase. I wish I could return it, but we already constructed it and don't have the box. … more
