Is the width x length really 19.5" x 36.5", or is the 36.5" a typo? If the base is only 23.5" x 19.5" it seems odd that the overall dimensions would be so much bigger. Thanks!

The first level extends further outward than the other levels of this Cat Tree, making the overall dimension's larger than the base.

Is this made of wood or cardboard?

The faux fleece fabric is made of polyester and the inside of the vertical supports is cardboard tubes (5mm thickness). The scratching rope is sisal and the bases, perches and condos are made out of engineered wood wrapped with plush fabric.

What are dimensions of all the top platforms? My guys like to cuddle 3 or 4 at a time

The dimensions for the top highest platform are 8 inches x 13 inches. The dimensions for the second highest platform are 23.5 inches x 13

A lot taller than I realized

This is quite tall and it turns out the porch where I put it has a slightly lower ceiling so I did not put the last level on. For winter I put it by a back door

This is quite tall and it turns out the porch where I put it has a slightly lower ceiling so I did not put the last level on. For winter I put it by a back door so the cats can enjoy sunlight, but I plan to move it to the interior in summer as I use the back door then. Probably will add the last level then. It wasn't too hard to put together, though watch where the little room part will go when deciding where it's going to be. My cat barfed on it and it was fairly easy to clean as the rug part was over wood, so there isn't mat underneath to soak in. Nevertheless, the rug is plenty soft.

So far, we’ve had it for a few days but only got it built yesterday and I’d say it’s really good, sturdy which is what was worrying me overall, so far, I’d say it

I was really hesitant to buy one of these online but it was difficult to find one in stores that was less than $100.. I’ll update if my opinion changes, but so far, so good

Held up for 5 years

Purchased this tower in 2020 for $86, has held up fine except for the sisal rope being scratched off by my cat as expected. Thought of purchasing a new one last

Purchased this tower in 2020 for $86, has held up fine except for the sisal rope being scratched off by my cat as expected. Thought of purchasing a new one last year but the conservative price hike deterred me. Would buy again during a sale. I think it’s fairly priced and much sturdier than other cat towers on the market. My 13lb cat loves to loaf and stretch and this has a few options to accommodate that. She has never used the hammock or the cubby so I use it for storage instead.

Great value for big cats

I have a Maine Coon cat who is about 19-20lbs so when I stayed looking for cat trees that would be sturdy enough for his zoomies I eliminated all options with only

I have a Maine Coon cat who is about 19-20lbs so when I stayed looking for cat trees that would be sturdy enough for his zoomies I eliminated all options with only 3 supports and ended up costing this one for the price and quality. That was back in 2020! It is still going strong and he uses it regularly. He scratched up the sisal on the bottom so I bought a wraparound rope replacement of a similar color and that's going to help extend the life of this tree. Every so often I tighten the screws and vacuum his fur but that's all the maintenance it needs. He's never used the hammock part so I admit I store my own stuff there but he loves the highest perch and will relax on the top four highest levels regularly. You can see the fake fur is coming off in the right side on top of the support post but it's taken him years to get it to this point and it still looks decent overall. I have been impressed with the quality of this brand's products and highly recommend this one if you also have big, rambunctious cats.
