Very nicely constructed birdfeeder. We wanted one that had a bottom plate so the seed would not fall all over the ground. It works well. Even though there are only 2 perches many birds can feed at the same time on this feeder. We recommend this feeder.

Very sturdy feeder.

I love this feeder. The base is wide enough for big birds to perch, and it has small perches for little birds (although they mostly use the base). The lid is convenient

I love this feeder. The base is wide enough for big birds to perch, and it has small perches for little birds (although they mostly use the base). The lid is convenient - you just pull it up and put the food in. And, the way that it hangs keeps the lid secure. It's easy to wash and easy to let sit upside down on a ledge to dry. I highly recommend it.

We have a lot of hanging bird feeders like this, but for some reason the birdseed only lasted about an hour in this before it was all on the ground! I think it's

We have a lot of hanging bird feeders like this, but for some reason the birdseed only lasted about an hour in this before it was all on the ground! I think it's not quite heavy enough to stand up to the elements - even on a relatively calm day. I'd love to find another feeder with a platform like this, but I ended up returning this one.

Plastic see through container is a bit lightweight in comparison to the metal housing. Multiple feeding ports allow for flow of food to pass through without clogging. Plastic wrapped metal hanging wire is sturdy enough to carry the weight of the feeder and then some. Whimsical design is pleasing to look at and enjoy.
