To measure your pet, we recommend using a soft measuring tape or the printable measuring tape on the Size tab. To measure your pet's body length, measure from the base of the neck to the base of the tail; measure the neck by carefully measuring the circumference of the pet's neck leaving room for two fingers; to measure the chest, measure of the widest part (around the pet's belly). Tip: get lots of treats and a human buddy to help keep your pet still while measuring and write down each measurement to easily compare to size chart!
For the best fit, match the below dimensions to your pet's measurements as closely as possible. If your pet falls somewhere between two sizes, we advise ordering the larger of the two.
Frisco apparel is seasonal and may not be restocked until the next season or may not be replenished at all due to some colors and patterns being limited edition.

Cute but bulky
This costume is for a larger sized furred gp, and does not fit on my skinny pig at all. Even with my larger gp the costume seemed too big for her, and I couldn't
This costume is for a larger sized furred gp, and does not fit on my skinny pig at all. Even with my larger gp the costume seemed too big for her, and I couldn't adjust it enough to really fit her well. Maybe it's because of the cushioning that makes up the avocado part of the costume, but I just didn't feel like it worked well. My gp also basically refused to move with it on, where she didn't seem to mind other costumes I tried on. Too big and bulky maybe? Otherwise, it's well made and very cute, and maybe it would be better on someone else's gp, but wasn't for me.
Cute for photo shoots only
Very cute. Good for photo shoots. Just need a Guinea pig who is trained to be handled. My more stoic one was fine with it for a few second but kept trying to back

Adorable costume for my piggie! I’m entering my pig in a costume contest, and this avocado is absolutely perfect! It’s a very soft material, the belly/chin strap are adjustable which is great. I’m having my younger/smaller pig wear the avocado, but I was pleased to see it was adjustable enough to accommodate my XL adult pig if I had wanted :) My little guy didn’t seem to mind wearing it all (of course it’s only worn for a short amount of time). I will definitely be buying other Frisco pig costumes lol!

I received several Frisco costumes including the avocado costume for my guinea pig Beefcake. I wasn’t sure how he would react to wearing a costume but he was very tolerate. I really like the adjustable Velcro straps. The sizing is perfect for a medium to large Guinea pig and the costume itself is very soft and lightweight. Overall it is just adorable!

Great little costume for guinea pigs or teacup dog
Our guinea pig doesn't tolerate wearing costumes, but our toy poodle liked it, though it was a tad snug. Teacup dogs, though, could easily wear this as a Halloween

The avocado is super cute however it is a little snug on a large guinea pig and the chin strap can be a little difficult to adjust if your guinea pig is head shy
