My 8.5-month-old miniature schnauzer received this toy a week ago, and it gained Elite Status in his considerable collection of toys IMMEDIATELY. He is very particular about toys - he loves all toys, but before this ball, he had three from which he could never be parted. He takes it with him all around the house (and tries to take it outside). I must throw it for him approximately 50 times per day (literally). He'll bring it back and put it IN MY HAND so I'll throw it again. Every now and then he grabs one of the "gills" and flings it across the room for himself to chase. I am buying several more just in case. It took about a week to kill the squeaker with near constant squeaking... but he says it's still 100% good without the squeaker. Both puppy and I highly recommend. Photos are quite literally his first 30 seconds with the now-coveted axolotl ball.
