When it’s time for walkies, just strap on the Frisco Basic No Pull Harness and take a leisurely stroll, in control! This harness is easy to put on with dual quick-snap buckles and a belly strap in a different accent color, so you can get ready and get walking faster. Once you’re out and about, this harness really helps improve a dog’s leash etiquette and cuts down on pulling-pet frustration. It’s designed to help you stay in the lead of your pack by redirecting your pup’s pulls and helping them learn to follow and walk beside you, rather than pull you along behind them. When using the front D-ring attached to the martingale chest strap, your dog’s pulls apply pressure to their chest, which gives them a signal to ease up and stop pulling, turning their lunges into smart, gentle corrections. Enjoy your next walk around the block with a more polite pup!

To get the most accurate size harness for your furry best friend, measure the girth of their chest, just behind the front legs, with a cloth tape measure. Pull the tape snug, but not tight. If you don't have a tape measure, you can also use a piece of string and measure it with a rigid ruler afterwards. Make sure there's enough room for about two fingers between the harness and your pup's chest.
If your pup measures in between sizes, its best to choose the larger of the two sizes. Harness is adjustable for the perfect fit.
Yes, the straps feature sliding adjusters for the perfect size.
No, this harness is not machine washable. For best results, wipe clean with a damp cloth.

I was going to say great harness for the price, but I used more expensive ones, and this is just as good. The only thing I would ding it on is the instructions. I do not see anywhere they tell you where the harness straps should fit. I see the two fingers and that is a good rule to go by, but other harnesses show you where the harness straps should be located on the dog's body. The harness is really made well and thick straps. I see others saying it is not chew resistant, but I only use this for a walking aide I do not think it is meant to stay on the dog all the time, but that is my humble opinion. i would say when you buy, and the size is close I would buy the next size up.
I didn't get the chance to use this for a long time - I had it for a foster dog that was leash reactive. She was underweight and I noticed a lot of room in the harness even though I tightened it to the lowest setting. I was worried that would risk chafing but she never seemed to mind. It helped with he pulling for the most part and I've had really good success with this design of harness on other dogs. I wish this brand had a smaller size for my Chihuahua mix.
We are on our third one.. We used them for a Ridgeback and St Bernard, collie mix and they work great! Getting a few to put in our RV so that they don't pull us when they are at parks with other dogs or see wild life.. we use them at home for walks in our forest parks.. the only thing I noticed is that my dogs can't jump up with them on.. they must feel restricted .. like getting into the car or up on a bed.. but other than that they work great!! Highly recommend for those who don't trust just a collar on their dog. Our dog broke her collar when tied up trying to go after something, so this really is nice to have and affordable... well made.
I'm not sure if my dog is oddly shaped or what, but this harness doesn't fit really well. I have the back tightened as far as it will go, the front as loose as it will go and still the side claps seem to far forward, cutting the under strap into his "armpits". So far I've just kept the under strap loose and seems ok but gets a bit twisted. In any event it works the best of all the ones I've tried, even ones that cost 4x the price of this one, he walks very nicely next to me. I also love that I don't have to put it over his head because he hates that.
Second time buying this harness, our female Britt, 30lbs, still pulls on this harness even after several adjustments... after water usage it must be rinsed then dried, however over time it does rust and causes the hair on our Britt to turn orange. I suppose if your dog never goes into water you'll be fine, I will look for another harness.
This is very sturdy, on the heavy side well made harness, but it's just not for my pup. He felt absolutely uncomfortable and refused to walk in it. He is freaked out by it and he is not a puller. I'm not saying it's bad but i will probably give it another chance while he is fully grown. This squishing on the chest area while he is still developing doesn't feel right to me.We're sticking to voyager step-in for now.
I was using an old harness on my pup. It was too loose so I decided to order a new one. Love the pink color. I just don't care the way this fits. The connection for the lead/leash is on her chest. I would prefer it on her back. Tired putting this on backwards, but that didn't work either. The one I have that is too big, fits better.
I bought a large first & it didn’t fit my Rottweiler. Bought xl and after adjusting it fits perfect. My first walk was excellent. Teddy stayed right by my side & walked at my pace. The only pulling he did was when we had to pass by a fenced dag. Bery happy with this harness.
My girl is a big time puller, so we always used a heavy duty harness with her. She recently had a growth and removal on her back so we needed to switch to something that would leave that uncovered. I wish we had used this harness the whole time. It works great for the walks. I bought two sizes but the medium fits great, shes 32 pounds and 21 inches long for reference.
This is my second one of these harnesses. They are well made and budget friendly. Unfortunately, despite me measuring my dog, this was too small so I’ll have to reorder a larger size.
