I love the cute birthday hat and bandanna that I bought my dachshund, Dottie. The hat actually stayed on well! I was able to take many photos without the hat coming off.! I intentionally selected a color that was gender neutral color so my male dachshund (Dasher) will be able to wear the same hat and bandanna on his birthday.

Hat Too Big - But Funny

We bought this combo to take photos for of our kitties for their birthdays. The bandana is cute and the hat is absolutely adorable, but for an average sized cat

We bought this combo to take photos for of our kitties for their birthdays. The bandana is cute and the hat is absolutely adorable, but for an average sized cat this hat is a bit too large. The loops that the ears fit through will not stay snugged around the ears, and it doesn't quite snug up enough to stay on. I would much prefer something that was velcro if I ever purchase a little hat again in the future, but giving them lots of snacks to enjoy their photoshoot and made the comically shifting and large hat kind of funny. If you buy this for a smaller or average sized cat, know that it will not fit as well as hoped.
