Nice coat but needs tweaking for skinny leg dog

I got this for my dog and I want to love it but I'm not sure she will use it much unless I create a fix for the front leg sleeves. It's nice that the openings are

I got this for my dog and I want to love it but I'm not sure she will use it much unless I create a fix for the front leg sleeves. It's nice that the openings are wide--this makes it easy for me to pull her front legs through but her legs are so narrow that they pulled OUT of the sleeves pretty easily. I would love if there were a a drawstring or other fastener at the end of the sleeves. I might try yarn ;)

Love the thickness of this Jacket. Its a scuba like material on the outside and its insulated with a thin layer of fleece. My dog Odin is short/small Boston Terrier

Love the thickness of this Jacket. Its a scuba like material on the outside and its insulated with a thin layer of fleece. My dog Odin is short/small Boston Terrier. He's a pretty fit dog around 18 pounds with a wide chest. The size small fits perfectly on him.

Didn't fit my do, but well made

I have a boxer/pitt so the chest is deep. Because this has sleeves, the length from chest/neck to legs matters. If this fits your dog, I think it's pretty cool

Great rain jacket

Based on reviews, I originally ordered a size XL for my retriever/lab mix girl. Her measurements seemed to be right in the size, but it wound up being too tight

Based on reviews, I originally ordered a size XL for my retriever/lab mix girl. Her measurements seemed to be right in the size, but it wound up being too tight to get it on her. I reordered in a size XXL and it's a good fit. It's tricky getting it on because the zipper is under the dog, but thankfully Zena doesn't mind standing fairly still while I figure it out! She hates going out in the rain and boy was it raining! I put my own rain jacket on and went out with her. She stayed pretty dry and the water just ran off the jacket. I'm glad I decided to get this. Customer Service was easy to work with and that's the biggest reason I use Chewy!
