I was really excited to get this for my kitty’s treats. I’m not sure if it’s just mine, but the lid isn’t tight. I’ve had this jar for a few weeks now, but I’m just noticing that it has been holding these treats without the proper seal. So, I’ve put 1.5 bags of the Blue Buffalo bursts treats in there (because he loves them), and I realized he wasn’t chewing them. I saw he was attempting to, but just ended up swallowing. It turns out because the lid isn’t tight and it’s so loose, that it made all the treats in the jar go stale… I’m kind of disappointed because this is a cute jar for treats (especially if you personalize it). I guess I’ll still use it for treats that have to be packaged? But that wasn’t the point. Upset that I wasted money for the treats and possibly the jar.
