She weighs 60 lbs. and the X-Large fits well; lots of stretch to comfortably get it over her head and slip her front paws in.

So, I have turned it inside-out so the squares which stand out from the body of the sweater are inside and the snagging has stopped. The inside of the sweater is smooth and doesn't snag. She loves the sweater!

I have two German Shorthaired Pointers that act like little princesses during the frigid Arizona winter (I know...) Usually we're having problems finding sweaters that fit well because of their big chest and thin neck and legs. Either their chest won't fit and the neck and legs fit or the chest fits and the neck is way too big so the shirts keep sliding back until they're too stretched out to wear. I'm thrilled to say that this isn't the case here. For once we found a sweater that fits almost perfectly. For our older girl we ordered the XL in Navy. The chest, length and neck are a great fit. The leg holes are a bit loose but I'm not mad because it makes putting it on and taking it off easier. The shirt is true to size. As a reference Cocoa is 70 pounds and is wearing an XL, Lucie is 62 pounds and the L would be a good size for her. She did insist to try it on and didn't want to give it back even though it could have been smaller for her. I'm really impressed about the high quality of this sweater. It's soft and warm with the right amount of stretch. The pattern looks very pretty. The color combination of navy with brown is very forgiving when the dogs are playing outside in the mud. Overall we're giving this sweater a 10/10 and I'm going to order a second one for Lucie.
