Not Right For Macaw
I had high hopes for this toy, but my macaw was totally disinterested...didn't even touch it! I moved it all around the cage to make it more interesting, but that
I had high hopes for this toy, but my macaw was totally disinterested...didn't even touch it! I moved it all around the cage to make it more interesting, but that failed to entice her. Finally, I put it away in storage and will use its components to enhance other toys my macaw DOES like.

It is a decent sized coconut toy. I wouldn’t recommend it for a small cage. So far one of my finches has enjoyed singing to the toy so I consider that to be approval

This is a lot bigger than I thought it was when I ordered it. The ball is the size of a coconut. But my bird does enjoy it and sits on the nubs that stick out
This is a lot bigger than I thought it was when I ordered it. The ball is the size of a coconut. But my bird does enjoy it and sits on the nubs that stick out. Best part, if your bird doesn't like it and you have a kitten, they will love it. Before I put it in my birds cage, my kitten loved playing with it, he thought I bought him a new toy. The hook is really nice as I can hang this anywhere in his cage without having to add anything special to hold it. I just hooked it to the top wire in his cage.

This coconut toy is huge and perfect for parrots and macaws. It is actually much bigger than I expected, but appropriately sized for my Yellow Nape Amazon. It is a strong, full sized coconut with braided jute on the ends. The toy offers entertainment for a long time, as it takes quite awhile to un-braid the jute and even longer to crack through the coconut shell. My bird was a bit afraid of the toy at first as it is very large, but he warmed up to it quickly. What I like most is that this toy is natural so I don’t worry about my bird ingesting plastics or dyes. The only issue is that the string it hangs from is quite long but can be adjusted with a little effort.
