My Senegal parrot loves to chew up wood and will work on destroying a toy until she feels her job is complete. She was not afraid of the Coco Swing toy at all and she immediately stuck her head into the coconut to start working on the wooden blocks inside. I gave her the toy on a Friday evening and by Saturday morning she had chewed the perch off and it was in the floor of her cage where she continued to chew on it. By Sunday she had chewed the rope so all of the pieces fell apart. Since she had enjoyed the toy so much I used a wire from an old toy to put the pieces back together so that she could chew on them more. The toy parts besides the rope seem very sturdy and the wood seems a little harder to chew so it lasts longer. The coconut holds the wood shavings from the blocks that are inside of it which is a plus. Originally I was going to give this toy to our Pineapple Green Cheeked Conure, but my daughter who works with rescue birds thought that the toy might cause hormonal behavior and egg laying. The toy would have lasted forever with the little conure.

I like the shape of this. And it's a coconut to boot. It's hard to introduce a new item to a pet bird and after a couple of days she now finally has started using this. The blocks can be a little smaller because she gets mad at them when she tries to get comfortable. But my bird likes that she can sleep in it. I now can stop worrying that the older she gets, she will not fall off perch at night. Or sleeping on the bottom of the cage.

This is a very good toy! My 3 cockatiels love chewing on the wooden blocks and swinging on top of the coconut part. I only worry about them possibly trying to use

My bird did not go nuts over the coconut
My African grey squawked and fell off his perch when I showed him this toy. I placed it near his cage for a week and was able to finally install it inside his cage

My bird was scared of it so I am hanging it outside of his cage in view for a few weeks until he gets used to it. Then the fun with begin, I am sure he is going to love it. The Frisco Coco Swing With Me Bird Toy is an adorable addition to my bird cage. My two little birds love it! They were a little scared of it at first so we put it on the outside of their cage for a few weeks to get them used to it. Now that is in their cage, they are always swinging or hanging out in the Coco shell. Too cute!

This is a cute swing for birds, however, your birds have to be willing to accept new items in their cage. It's not too large and takes up minimum space in the cage

My granddaughter has 2 birds and when we put the swing into the cage, 1 bird was so scared of it, he didn't move for a while. The other one took to it and loved it. She stayed on the swing and didn't want to share it, which in the long run is great.
