Legs don’t stay open, there seems to be a screw on each side but the legs don’t catch behind the screws so first time we tried it, the legs just collapsed.

This feeder has two removable bowls that have large capacity for food and water and are very easy to clean. The height was perfect for my pup. The legs fold down to make it easy to store or travel with. It can also be used with the legs folded in. My pup liked it and enjoyed having his dinner in the new bowl. The only things keeping me from rating this 5 stars were that the feeder isn't completely steady and wouldn't stay very still for a dog that eats quickly; even with both legs locked into place there's still a slight wobble. One of the pins that holds the legs out was also a little tough to get into place on the unit I received. It still works great and these feel like worthwhile trade offs for the versatility of folding legs and convenient storage.

This feeder is lightweight and very easy to clean. Our pup is a pretty mellow eater so this is plenty sturdy for him. We also love camping and have found this to be great to take on the road. It folds nicely for easy storage too, which is great for travel and small spaces. This would also be great for anyone starting out with a puppy as it can be folded at floor level until the puppy grows into the taller format. Overall, it's a great product and we and our pup have been very happy with it.
