Will a small size fit my 20lb dog or should I order a medium. thank you

The Small ID tag measures 0.9 x 1.0 inches and is best for cats and small breed dogs. The Regular ID tag measures 1.2 x 1.4 inches and is best for medium to large dog breeds.
I have a cat that has become my ESA as I am more comfortable with a cat than a dog. Can she have this tag and be recognized as a dog would be?

pertinent info only

My cats hopefully will never need these identification tags, but I got them for traveling in case of separation or in case someone needs to see the "ESA" tag. Not sure that such a printed tag would be believed, but it's very true in my case. What's to say about a collar tag; it showcases pertinent info in a succint manner.

Ive bought 2 of these ESA ID tags from Chewy. I really like the design. But the red lettering peels off quickly. Not good!

great size not to big to bother the neck and not to small you cant see or read it. it was most certainly worth the buy. my wife has severe anxiety, and our little boy is her stress relief. if your friend, family member, or spouse has a medical issue this is the perfect gift attached with a new pet. haha.
