Nice size, flared sides are great for fuzzier dogs

The flared sides work great for our Golden Doodle, who has lots of fur around his face. He was uncomfortable with the more straight sided bowls. The size is good,

The flared sides work great for our Golden Doodle, who has lots of fur around his face. He was uncomfortable with the more straight sided bowls. The size is good, and the steel interior is easy to clean. The only downside is the non skid base isn't quite grippy enough. It's not completely slick, but if our dog gets aggressive with licking the bowl - it slides a bit. The robot vacuum also shoves it around, where our other dog's bowl stays put. It's not a deal breaker, but it's the only thing that dinged a star. Otherwise, our dog likes it a lot!

Bummer

Pretty design. That is it. Too small for a lab and boxer breed. When my dogs are eating, the bowls scoot across the floor. Really frustrating.

My cat hates this bowl, it's not the bowl's fault

My cat's just being weird about this, but we don't use this bowl anymore. He was a little freaked out by the higher sides and kept choosing violence against this

He was on a medication that made his whiskers fragile and easily broken, so I wanted to try a flared one. My cat had definite opinions about it and we do not use it anymore.

It's attractive, easy to clean, and the non-skid bottom keeps it in place. The Medium (4-cup) size is perfect for our cat. He's an indoor-outdoor guy and generally prefers to drink outside in the bowls and pond used for the other cats, javelinas, deer, raccoons and other critters. He preferred "toilet water" when drinking inside - could not find a bowl he would drink out of! - but I've actually seen him using this bowl several times! He still prefers the "outdoor water" but I think we have a winner.
