I recently moved my 3 rattie girls to a much bigger cage and realized they would need more stuff to climb up and hang out in. This style of hammock seems to be their favorite because they piddle all over it lol. It's easy to put in a mesh laundry bag and throw in the wash. The only negative is that the straps are *so long* and it's hard to adjust the hammock high enough without altering them.
Using it for an orphan kitten in a large crate. He loves it! Sturdy, well made straps are adjustable.
The ferrets love it!!
I have four boys in a double critter nation and for the price these are great hammocks. There are some small complaints. The plastic hooks are meh, they could use a hole in them like some hammocks have so poop and liquids drop out, but so far this have been lasting great with four boys who destroy all the expensive things I buy. I give each maybe 15-20 uses before I'll have to get rid of them from bites and wear. Just handwash in scent free detergent, hang to dry.
Would not recommend for rats. Mine chewed it to pieces in less than 24 hours
