I found that the Frisco potty pads were extra absorbent. The XL size is too large, and found that I wasted more of the pad, so will downsize to the L. Otherwise,

I used to do patient care in a hospital, and these pee pads, or "Chux" as we called them, are the best. Frisco's Premium Potty Pads are nearly identical to the ones we used for patient care. They hold a lot of urine. We use these under cat boxes, to protect mattresses, and to protect nearly anything you don't want marked or ruined by the occasional accident. There are a lot of poor imitations out there on the market, but Frisco Premium Potty Pads are the very best!
