Do these gloves work well for short haired dogs?

The gloves can be used for dogs and cats with most fur and hair types.

Is there latex in these gloves? Also, are they true to size? My kid has hands that are about a small women's and that's what I'm looking for. I'm M/L women's, usually a S/M men's.

The glove material is made of polyester fiber, latex and polyurethane fiber. To measure if the glove will fit your hand, measure your palm width circumference around the widest part of your hand just below the knuckles. One size should fit most. I've added the sizing chart below:

Velcro failed straight out of the package.

The velcro closure separated from the strap the first time I took tried to put the gloves on. The strap wasn't critical as they are a tight fit. My long haired

The velcro closure separated from the strap the first time I took tried to put the gloves on. The strap wasn't critical as they are a tight fit. My long haired shepard mix enjoyed the petting/grooming for a bout 3 minutes before she decided she had enough. I haven't tried them on my short haired dog yet.

I'm always amazed how much hair a dog can shed. My pup doesn't really like to be brushed, but loves to be petted. These gloves removed the loose hair - so it's not all over the house - and my pup got lots of positive attention at the same time. Do use them outside, or in a confined area, as the gloves don't "hold" the loose hair. Others said the gloves run small, so I did order a size larger than my hand measurement indicated, and they fit fine.

I’ve had these for a few years of tough monthly use. They’ve held up through a few runs through the washing machine - accidentally bundled up with a towel. The Velcro is shot on one glove and the other is missing a finger nubbin but I really like them still. They’re fantastic to help bathe dogs with thick double coats and help it feel like the bathing process is going faster. I’m going to use them till they’re done for and likely get a new pair. They are a bit stiff to use but nothing that makes them unmanageable.
