Is their a hole on back for a harness loop to be able to attach leash?

This coat is absolutely adorable!!! Its extremely soft on the inside and fluffy with a great fit. Its -4* (real feel -15) (I wish I was lying) the jacket came right on time and when we got back in from a fast potty break his chest and stomach were still toasty warm. He personally loathes the hood and keeps attacking it. I ordered a large and hes a medium breed Westie-AM Eskimo and 23 lbs if it helps anyone for sizing. Fits with room if your dog is a cpl lbs heavier or a bigger chest but would go bigger for a lab size. Totally worth the purchase and thrilled. It even has real pockets on it! The only thing I would change would be to have an opening lower down the back for a harness otherwise the leash unsnaps the hood.

Thick, warm, waterproof, and cute

Very thick so keeps my Phoebe warm. You have to be careful with the Velcro, because if you overlap with the inner lining it gets caught in the Velcro, but I haven’t

Wish I Loved This More

It’s a very nicely made, warm coat but the hood is definitely a drawback. It would have been much better if the hood was removable. The snap is right near the leash

It’s a very nicely made, warm coat but the hood is definitely a drawback. It would have been much better if the hood was removable. The snap is right near the leash hole so it doesn’t stay snapped because of the movement of the leash. The hoods cover their eyes so it’s pretty awkward. I’m going to have to tack the hood down with a stitch I guess.

Not made well

Cute and warm coat

The hood snap doesn’t stay put so it flaps into her face. More so, the Velcro doesn’t hold so within about 10 minutes the jacket is falling off.

Winter jacket alternate

Needing an alternate winter jacket for my 3 yr old 30 lbs French bulldog, Eglantine; we chose to try out the “Frisco’s Heavy Weight Matte Quilted Dog & Cat Parka

Needing an alternate winter jacket for my 3 yr old 30 lbs French bulldog, Eglantine; we chose to try out the “Frisco’s Heavy Weight Matte Quilted Dog & Cat Parka with Cozy Fleece Lining, Tan, Large”. Finding clothes that fit my girl has proven very difficult, especially if the brand is not specifically catered towards her breed. Eggs has a 17” neck, is 16.5” long with 22” inch chest. This coat is almost perfect for her. The length is great and has adjustable toggles to shorten near the backend! The inner lining is a soft “fur” with a shearing edged hood with a snap to keep it back off her face. The hood also folds well so she is not blinded by it falling down over her eyes when it’s un-snapped. There is two cute functional pockets on the back of the jacket. It’s a tad snug putting the last leg through but the armpit seam does not seem to be pulling or tight thru the chest or cause any discomfort. The major draw back is the Velcro used to secure the jacket closed. The jacket has a fake button and then a huge strip of Velcro, which is loud and startling when disrobing her. I have concerns about mislaying the Velcro when closing causing injuries. The Velcro also has quickly become twined with the fur lining. My guess is if you don’t clean it carefully the closure will lose its effectiveness quickly. Another good benefit is the jacket is mildly water resistant, and has been good in a light rain. There is a hole at the neckline for an harness or leash. I wish the color was closer to Khaki rather than tan but it will probably be better at hiding dirt. All in all we are pleased with the jacket and quality, though I would rather have zipper or button closures
