Not for HEAVY chewers

My pittie mix is a very, *very* heavy chewer who lives to rip up (and eat) rubber toys. One of her favorite toys is the Woofbite Ultra-Tough Ring, so I thought

My pittie mix is a very, *very* heavy chewer who lives to rip up (and eat) rubber toys. One of her favorite toys is the Woofbite Ultra-Tough Ring, so I thought I'd get this donut toy when it was on sale to add another option in the shape she likes. It is definitely NOT for super chewers like my dog. It took her about 45 minutes to have a big chunk ripped out, fractures starting in multiple places further around, and a slab of the "frosting" section loose and ready to pull off. That's not half bad considering she demolishes most "durable" rubber toys in 30 minutes or less, but still not good enough. If you're looking at this for a true heavy chewer who wants a toy they can safely chomp on, buy the Woofbite or Monster K9 ring instead. Those are as close to indestructible as I've found.

This is a solid rubber toy that should last a while. My dog rips through toys so fast that I thought this would be good. Unfortunately she is not much for the solid rubber toys. This is the second one I tried and she didn't take to either. I think though that if your dog likes rubber toys and is a hard chewer that this would be a good choice.

A Strong Smelling Donut

I was really excited to give my dog this as peanut butter is his favorite thing in the world. I smelled it and it's not a great smell. Doesn't smell close to peanut

I was really excited to give my dog this as peanut butter is his favorite thing in the world. I smelled it and it's not a great smell. Doesn't smell close to peanut butter. When I first got it, I would keep it closed away in another room as rubber toys like this need to be watched as my dog destroys them quickly. It ended up stinking up the whole room.. The toy has since aired out but my dog shows no interest in this one. I truly think it's the smell. Normally he's all over these toys to the point of destroying them, but he'd take it and go hide it. The most interaction I get is playing tug with it, which he loves tug! It has held up to tugging, but sadly my dog could care less about this toy. I know the sprinkles are raised to help with cleaning teeth and maybe he's still getting some cleaning action while playing tug but he refuses to chew it. I'm quite sad about it as this is the first toy he's been uninterested in.

Horrible cigarette smell

This toy as soon as we got it out of the box smelled overpoweringly like cigarette smoke. The box included a bag of dog food as well that the smell was not on,

The box included a bag of dog food as well that the smell was not on, so we didn't think the smell came from the delivery person. It came wrapped in a plastic wrap, which when removed still did not help the smell. I ran it through the dishwasher hoping that it would help but it is still so bad that I think it will have to be thrown away.

Dolley the Boston Terrier

The toy was kinda big for her and it was super hard. So after about 10 minutes she left if and has not played with it since. I think larger dogs would enjoy this

Terrible Cigarette Smell

As soon as this item came out of the package it REAKED of cigarettes and chemicals. Soaked in hot dish soap and water and still did not help. I had to throw this

Rough and tough and still holding up

So far, this has been the best toy and has not been mutilated within the first day! Very sturdy and solid material, my neighbors dogs love them. I had gotten one

Stinks!! Yuck

It has a very strong odd smell - I think it smells like rotten cigarette smoke. It made the whole house stink so it is now outside. Dog won't go near it.

My golden thought this smelled delicious! He was so excited to get to it. Pros-easy to keep clean and he loved the smell and chewed it for a while: cons-it’s another rubbery toy and he was bored with it fairly quickly. He’d much rather a stuffed animal but he rips those to shreds and leaves stuffing all over.
