I just received these and they smell like permanent marker...really strong chemical smell. Why?

These toys would not be recommended for a 6 pound dog, they are designed for medium size dogs.

My dog's favorite toys

We've gotten LOTS of toys for our year-and-a-half-old Havapoo, but these have stayed his favorites. They keep their squeak for a long time and our dog adores them. Recommend.

Fun and Squeaky

My dog is blind and he loves this toy! Has a super loud squeaker so he can find it by sound. He loves it so much that he takes it on our walks with us.

Great if you don't have aggressive chewers!

Winner winner ice cream dinner!

My boy is just learning to play with these types of toys (we previously had two dogs and they would fight over toys like this so we could not have them). This ice cream cone is the favorite and the first one out of the toy box every day. He carries it around with him, tosses it, chases it and steps on it to make it squeek. He is a medium/large dog and a medium chewer so the product seems very durable for him. The squeek is not too loud and does not seem to startle him.

Decent

As someone with a big dog who doesn’t care much for squeaky plastic, I would say these aren’t worth it but they are durable and a decent price. However, I made it a point to rinse these before giving them to my dog because I noticed a residue on the toys after removing them from their packaging. Just want to hopefully provide some useful pros and cons for those wanting to buy. Wouldn’t buy again but the person I gave them to said their dog liked them and hasn’t gotten sick months later.

My dogs love these! One of them likes to chew up toys that i get and she hasn’t ruined either of them yet! Both of them like squeaky toys and these are great squeakers!

Summer Fun

My dog loves these toys! The material is good and hold up against his chewing. They are loud so I would suggest to let these be an afternoon toy vs morning, lol. My pup loves the ice cream sandwich the best!

So nice I bought them twice

Our dogs love the heck out of these. They are not strong chewers at all but the cone had to be thrown out a long time ago because there was a hole and some stuffing started to come out. Definitely not for the destructive types. The sandwich was a favorite and recently the squeaker expired so I bought a whole new set and the dogs are going CRAZY for them all over again. The symphony of squeaks is not great when you're WFH so sometimes I have to confiscate but they are a blast and a current favorite. I will buy again when these squeakers start to diminish. (hopefully they will be available!)

These are so thin and cheaply made. One or two bites and they lose their cute shape. May as well give your dog a flat piece of latex to chew on. They went in the garbage within minutes.

Cheaply made

Lasted 15 minutes before the ice cream cone was ripped in half. Definitely skip this one.
