This fleece vest is machine washable. To wash, turn inside out, machine wash cold with like colors on gentle cycle. Only non-chlorine bleach when needed. Tumble dry low. Do not iron.

Sizing Way Off & Poor Construction!

I have a very barrel chested 20 lb dachshund with a chest circumference of 21 inches. I actually worried that the medium might be too tight. But no! The item runs

I have a very barrel chested 20 lb dachshund with a chest circumference of 21 inches. I actually worried that the medium might be too tight. But no! The item runs very large and the armholes are huge. I'm going to have to sew a piece of fabric across half the opening to keep his legs from falling out. The neck edge is unfinished. There is no closure above the zipper--they just cut the tape and left raw edges. Poor quality. It gets 2 stars only for it's warmth. I'd return it but my dog loves it and has already made it his own. I can fix the flaws but shouldn't have to.

It’s very soft but it was way too big. My dog is 1/2 inch smaller in the neck and chest than the measurements listed, but according to the chart a Medium would’ve

It’s very soft but it was way too big. My dog is 1/2 inch smaller in the neck and chest than the measurements listed, but according to the chart a Medium would’ve been too small. I was planning to give it away but the zipper broke the very first time I tried to zip it up. Unless you’re a zipper repair expert, I’d pick something else.

Easy to put on

Zipper in back makes it super easy to put on and take off. Chewy customer service was super helpful in sending a small size when the original medium size was too

Zipper in back makes it super easy to put on and take off. Chewy customer service was super helpful in sending a small size when the original medium size was too big for my pup. I didn't have to send the original it back - they just said to donate it - how cool is that?!

Difficult zipper

The zipper is very difficult to operate (and there is only a zipper to fasten, no hook and loop). While my little guy is good about holding still, it isn't reasonable

While my little guy is good about holding still, it isn't reasonable for me to ask for such a long hold while my other dogs are excited about going outside. When I unpacked the jacket, zipper seemed fine, but that was the last time. It's a bear to get the zipper locked/started...works after that. It's is just a cheap zipper. I agree with the reviews saying the jacket runs big. The EXS fits my 9lb. Chihuahua/some kind of terrier mix loosely but it works. Our larger MinPin friend could nowhere near wear the Small. It was much too big for him in girth and the giant armholes wouldn't work either.

I bought this jacket in November 2023, and the zipper broke March 1. I expect apparel to last more than 5 months. Cheaply made. Won't buy from seller again.

Poorly made with bad zipper

The fit is bulkier than expected for my bully breed, but maybe better for a less barrel chested dog. Lacks structure to keep it fitted, especially on the torso,

The fit is bulkier than expected for my bully breed, but maybe better for a less barrel chested dog. Lacks structure to keep it fitted, especially on the torso, where it becomes a floppy cape. Zipper is not adequate for the job is has to play in this design. A sad waste of fabric and money.

Pros: it's cozy and pretty easy to put on. And it's gotten comments. Cons: Had to put a safety pin to stop the zipper from being undone completely since it's so hard to get it reset. We use the vest like a pull-over now. Also, what is the pocket for? I altered it by putting a "buttonhole" inside the pocket so that you can attach the leash through to the harness.... this improves the design, I think.
